On the evening of December 28, accompanied by the departure of the last pulp vessel, AVOCET ARROW, Gaolan Port was declared the perfect closure of ship operations in 2018. According to statistics, Gaolan Port has completed 767,000 tons of ship unloading and 118,000 tons of throughput in the whole year, increasing by 65% and 78% respectively over the same period of last year. It is worth mentioning that the unloading efficiency of Gaolan Port has again set a new record at the end of the year, reaching an unprecedented high of 382 tons per hour, following the record of 305 tons per hour in November.
The rapid development of the company's business volume and the steady improvement of its operational efficiency benefit from: implementing precise marketing to enable customers to understand the location advantages of Gaolan and the economy of logistics; perfecting and perfecting the safety and operational management system, combing and standardizing the operation process, rationally planning and utilizing production resources to achieve a great improvement in operational efficiency; Promote the production of Gaolan Port Logistics Distribution Center (Phase I) to provide hardware support for the stable development of business; make every effort to promote the bonded function on-line, become the first bonded warehouse in Gongbei Customs area and the first bonded enterprise in South China with double bonded licenses, effectively solve the urgent supply of pulp upstream and downstream. Need docking; Establish "pulp hospital" to provide multiple "cosmetic" value-added services for pulp, and help customers improve their marketing reputation.
