On July 11, at Beilun Port Station of Ningbo Zhoushan Port Railway, the import train of Yongyu (Ningbo-Chongqing) was smoothly opened, which was added on the basis of the export train of Yuyong (Chongqing-Ningbo) sea-rail intermodal transport along the Yangtze River.
On January 23, last year, the Yuyong Line first opened, relying on its advantages of short travel time, high cost performance and direct railway to wharf, it successfully exported 50 kinds of goods produced by enterprises in Chongqing to 46 countries and regions through Zhoushan Port in Ningbo. In more than a year, the Chongqing-Yongboards have run 184 times, and the total number of deliveries exceeded 20,000 standard boxes, thus achieving a historical leap from scratch. In two months, the train has rapidly upgraded from the original weekly shift to the "alternate day shift", further broadening the sea-rail intermodal logistics channel in the southwest of Zhoushan Port, Ningbo.
This year's new import lines from Yongyu will hopefully realize the "double transport" situation of re-entry and re-entry, further reduce the logistics cost of goods from Yongyu lines, and improve the market competitiveness of export goods from Chongqing and its surrounding areas. It is understood that the first import train from Yongyu is loaded with imported sources of automotive parts and manufacturing equipment, refrigeration equipment, etc. Next, the train will organize more high value-added sources of IT, precision instruments, pulp, frozen meat, and strive for the early realization of two-way normal operation.
